This is a fully equipped apartment in the first floor of the house we live in. Entrance on street level. Here you can book for one night or longer stay and only need to bring your personal items. The road goes just past the house, so you can hear the cars, but the bedroom is at the back and there is only the forest outside, and completely quiet. Parking outside or in the plastic garage in the parking lot at the end of the house. 2 baby cribs are awailable for free if you need them.
I am a breeder of Japanese Spitz dogs, and there may be some sound from the dogs. But you get that in the bargain.
There are several walking tracks right outside the apartment. In the summer there is a bathing area in the village on Vihustjønnet, and by Gjevarvatnet there is a long and shallow sandy beach. In the mountains there are many beautiful fishing lakes and one can also fish in the Vihustjønnet or in the river that pass just outside the property. In the winter we have a ski resort in the village (2km) with lift, light path and 5 miles of beautifully run ski trails on Kvambekk (6km) You can also drive to Sudbø (10km) and follow the scooter track up to Brattefjell (1500m). Eva Bull Holte's museum is about 3 km north of the apartment. It is open in the summer. Sommerland in Bø, with lots of activities and water park is 60 km from the apartment, about 1 hour drive. If you are traveling with young children there is a playground within walking distance.
