The cottage has a filleting place and a cold storage room (1sqm). There is also good swimming in the fjord and nice conditions for children. If you want to go for a walk during the vacations, it is not far to a great hiking area with a marked hiking trail. Worth a trip from the cottage are Hjelmeland and Årdal and day trips to the Lysefjord and Prekestolen. For the children a visit to the amusement park Kongeparken is suitable.
