Company information

There has been camping at Sæteråsen since the seventies. We bought the place in Desember 2020 and have big ambitions and development plans. Our goal is to offer a comparatively priced alternative in Trysil combined with exciting activities year-round, and we are well on the way to reach our goals! As hosts we are known for tailor-made programs' and offers for your personal stay with us. We are flexible, enthusiastic about meeting you and very relaxed to work with - or main goal is to make your stay as comfortable and exiting as possible - and we live onsite, which means you always have a contact person available. We are also mushers and arrange dogsledding events from our campsite, Come and meet our beautiful and kind Husky's . You will love them like we do. Interested? Give us a call or send us an e-mail. Sæteråsen Cabins & Camping is conveniently situated along Highway 25, approximately 10 km south of Trysil, just opposite Trysil airport. Norway’s biggest alpine destination is only a stone’s throw away. Also in summer Trysil has a lot to offer. Biking, hiking and festivals attract thousands of guests every year. At Sæteråsen we offer you an unforgettable stay combined with lots of activities. Aussie barbie, old-style fishing, moose safari, close-by hiking trails and cross-country skiing in winter are some of the most popular activities. Norway's biggest Alpine skiing center is just 10 minutes away. Dogsledding is available from the campsite. We have 14 winter-insulated cabins with covered terrace and a grassy tent area for school groups, summer camps and everyone who loves big, open spaces with nature on the doorstep. Our fireplace lounge invites to evening get-togethers with family and friends and can be rented separately for Christmas parties, weddings or other celebrations.
