“Pour être factuel. Le logement est fantastique ! Hors de prix également mais unique donc ça le vaut très largement ce prix. On peut difficilement faire plus "confortable" et totalement isolé dans la nature ... par contre le descriptif est un peu...”

Company information

Preiekstolen BaseCamp was established in 2008 when the Mountain lodge opened. It was owned by the norwegian trekking association, but was bought by Norwegian Experience in 2019. The last years we have developed the BaseCamp even more, and will continue to do so in future so that we will be able to offer our guests the best of accomodation options and outdoors activities. We believe in tourism at the same time as taken care of the nature and traditions. Preikestolen BaseCamp is also certified as a Eco lighthouse, so we take health, safety and environment very seriously.

Property information

Veslebu is a unique cabin directly at the trail to the famous Preikestolen. Here you can stay in calm surroundings even if you are in a famous tourist place. Enjoy the mountain and lake view, a nice sand beach and completely private cabin. The cabin was renovated in 2024 and has it's own kitchen, livingroom, fire place, and beds for 5 people. There is no bathroom directly at the cabin, but there is an outhouse, and you get access to the sanitary building which is a short walk from the cabin (5 minute walk)

Preikestolen BaseCamp is close to the city in Jørpeland. Here they offer restaurant, cafe's, shops and stores. We are also located only 40 minutes from Stavanger and in the high season the pulpit rock bus has several daily departures from the BaseCamp
