The house is located on the east side of the Lyngenfjord, between Normannvik and Djupvik in the municipality of Kåfjord. Here, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the fjord and the Lyngen Peninsula. The area lies in the heart of the "Aurora Belt" and is also considered the "tenderloin" for randonee and snowboard enthusiasts; several of the famous Kåfjord peaks are accessible directly from the house. The area also offers fantastic opportunities to experience the northern lights, the midnight sun, and whale safaris (depending on the season), as well as hiking, kayaking, cycling, sea fishing, and much more. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences, such as an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, etc. The living room features a spacious dining table with 6 chairs, a large sofa, Smart TV, reading area, and a wood-burning stove (firewood included). Each bedroom has 3 comfortable beds (90x200) that can be arranged as 3 single beds or one king-size + one single. Guests have access to the main house and the boathouse. Two rooms are available in the basement: one for drying clothes, shoes, ski skins, etc., and another where firewood for the stove is stored. Villa Lyngenfjord was acquired to accommodate our crew and guests for bungee jumping from @Gorsabrua (check out @LyngenfjordBungee), but it can be rented outside of our season.
The 24/7-365 local shop is 5.1 km from the house. Restaurant Solvind can be found 7.5 km from the house 13 km north of Olderdalen and 32 km south of Storslett
