Rebuilt with sustainable practices after the 2015 earthquake, it stands as a symbol of resilience and a commitment to preserving local heritage. Our vision is to offer guests a truly immersive and peaceful experience, inviting them to connect with the vibrant local culture and the warm hospitality of Nepal. As a civil engineer, I and my wife ,freelance architect, personally designed and furnished Tanani Newa Home. Our guiding principle was to create a space that embodies simplicity, minimalism, peace, and comfort, ensuring a truly relaxing stay for our guests. We genuinely enjoy engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering discussions on art, culture, heritage, and life experiences.
Tanani Newa Home is located at Tanani Chowk. Tanani Chowk is area of dwellings of Newars. Thus there occurs many feast and festivals, bhajans (prayers in group) and many activities of our community which you may find interesting. We, maharjan family are waiting you to welcome in our house. Please come and stay in our house and feel the uniqueness of our locality. Patan Darbar Square is within 10 minutes walking distance from Tanani Newa Home. Patan’s popular shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants and bars like Labin Mall, Bhabahteni supermarket, Namaste supermarket, Saleways supermarket, Dhokai ma Café and Cafe Cheeno are all within 5-minute walking distance. Jhamsikhel and UN Complex are also within walking distance. It is 30 minutes far from Tribhvan International Airport. Bus Park and taxi stands are available nearby.
