This lovely one bedroom studio unit is located in the beautiful grounds of the old Heritage Hanmer Lodge with access off Jollies Pass Road It takes in amazing views of the surrounding grounds and mountains beyond with complimentary use of the swimming pool and tennis court. Parking space is available behind the unit which includes one king split bed, ensuite with shower over bath, tea and coffee making facilities. There is also additional seating outside on the patio area. Please note that this is an adjoining unit and does not have any internet access. Please note: This is a fully serviced room which includes Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, linen, bedmaking and cleaning after your stay in the quoted price

Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
