Located in a spectacular setting, almost nestled in the forest itself and located only a 500m walk away from the Thermal Pools and Spa, shops and restaurants, 3 Scarborough Terrace is something special. The elevated outlook makes this home a beautiful sun trap. Sit outside and soak up the vitamin D while listening to the sounds of the forest during the day, and nestle by the wonderful little log fire/heatpump at night. Neighbourhood information

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
