Imagine arriving at this idyllic location, surrounded by the ocean and estuary and with snow capped mountains in the distance. Soon you will be sitting on your deck, with a glass of local wine in hand, watching some of the most amazing sunsets you can see anywhere in the world. This is such a peaceful place and the perfect destination for your holiday; anniversary; birthday celebration; honeymoon or just a few days to chill out and escape from the rigours of daily life.
Melitta and Richard are semi retired farmers and have recently moved to Kina. They love the outdoors especially fishing, tennis, cycling, gardening, walking, and any kind of water sports. They have three adult sons who visit regularly and two gorgeous golden retriever female dogs who are super friendly and you will meet them from time to time around the property. Melitta is a keen artist and has a small studio on site.
Almyra is located on the stunning Kina Peninsula wth its unspoilt beaches and Baigents Domain for picnics, kite flying etc. There is also a boat ramp for small boats to launch - depending on the tides of course. We are surrounded by water - the ocean and the estuary, which is of course tidal. The estuary hosts a wealth of wading birds and is ever changing. Kayaking can be safely enjoyed on the estuary. We are also located close to the hugely popular Great Taste Cycling trail - bikes can be hired locally. We are also surrounded by local vineyards and on Kina alone, we have 3 great vineyards - two of which organise wine tastings by appointment. Kina Golf Course is just stunning and located on the cliff top overlooking the ocean. There is plenty of fishing, boating, paddleboarding, and many many more outdoor pursuits.
