Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Burkes Pass Country Motels is a 15-minute or a 22 km scenic drive from either Lake Tekapo or Fairlie, both of which offers a supermarket and range of restaurants. Mackenzie Pass and the Mackenzie Memorial are a 30-minute drive away. Being surrounded by mountains, there is no mobile phone reception, so guests are assured a relaxing stay.
