Enjoy a stay in this large, cosy & very unique unit. Cute outdoor patio area where you can enjoy your complimentary tea/coffee. A workspace located in the main bedroom with unlimited high-speed internet. Handy to town, great cafes & restaurants, Queen Elizabeth II Park, Henley Lake, and the hospital. Great for couples looking for a Wairarapa getaway or visiting family/friends, individuals are also very welcome, and the unit is extremely suited for business travellers that require a central location. Enjoy the charm of the era in a 1920s bungalow, with many original features, including high stud with plaster ceilings throughout and timber polished floors. You will immediately feel welcomed as you enter via a small private outdoor patio. A great place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of local wine. Complimentary tea, coffee, etc. The kitchen includes fridge/freezer, microwave and electric oven and is well equipped for cooking during your stay. The lounge includes a sofa with a TV that provides all the latest access to apps and Freeview TV channels. There is a selection of books, magazines and games/puzzles to enjoy. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and desk. The bed has an electric blanket to keep you cosy and warm just in case of cooler nights. The bathroom has modern amenities, including a great shower, heated towel rail, hair dryer and washing machine. Parking is right in front of the property, and there is enough parking for two large cars. We prefer communication via the mobile Booking App, please ensure you have this downloaded onto your mobile phone to enable messages regarding your booking, check-in and lockbox code which will be messaged to you one day before arrival. Please note that the password sent in the email with your booking is NOT the lockbox code.
I enjoy providing this unique unit to guests and really appreciate all the wonderful comments from guests following their stay. I have travelled to many places around the world, and feel that I certainly provide all that is needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay for my guests.
The apartment is located close to town, only a short walk of approx. 10-15mins to the nearest supermarket and pharmacy which is then just a short walk to the shopping precinct, including movie theatres and many great cafes and restaurants situated in the town centre. There are some great areas for biking, including Henley Lake just a few minutes away. The Wairarapa region has many wonderful trails and walks to enjoy for all levels of fitness.
