Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located beach house just a short walk to the beach and the heart of Waihi Beach Village. Featuring a main house with 2 bedrooms and open plan kitchen, living and dining with a bathroom and laundry. Just a few steps from the back door is the sleep-out with another queen bed and 4 singles bunks plus its own bathroom. Huge backyard & outdoor dining make this a great choice for families and friends wanting to holiday together.

Neighbourhood information

It's just a short walk down the road to the white sands and sparkly blue waters of Waihi Beach, voted by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 beaches in New Zealand. Beach front cafe, the Flat White, is only a short walk away as is the local village, full of boutique shops, fantastic restaurants and cafes, a small supermarket and award-winning butcher making this area full of everything you need for that perfect getaway! The beaches nearby are wonderful for walking, shell collecting, swimming, surfing or playing in the sand. There are many well equipped children’s playgrounds in the area as well as great walking and biking tracks including the famous walking and biking trail through the Karangahake Gorge. This trail is great for kids (or any age) you pass over bridges, through tunnels and explore the old gold mine and waterfall. Bike hire is possible in Waihi town or the Waihi Beach village. This beach house is in an ideal location to explore the Bay of Plenty. Tauranga is a 1-hour drive, and Coromandel is 1.5 hours.
