A stylish, self contained apartment, tucked away in a peaceful garden, filled with bird life. 5 minutes walk from kerikeri town, cafes, restaurants, markets and the Stone Store basin, countless river and bush walks in beautiful Kerikeri, only a 20 minute drive to an abundance of top tourist activities in the Bay of Islands. Anika, has plenty of local and regional knowledge to make sure your stay is enjoyable, and fulfills your holiday needs! Relax around the pool after a day out and about. A beautifully presented apartment, very comfortable bed and stylish lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining table, BBQ and balcony for your use, safe parking outside your door. Fast fiber internet, if you need to work or communicate, smart TV. A peaceful spot to enjoy the birdsong! The lush green well-established gardens lure all sorts of birds in. So close to town and has fabulous walks and tourist attractions so close. Self-contained, with your own independent, private access, a hideaway in central Kerikeri. A short drive to East Coast beaches and the kauri forest.
Originally English, I've been living the dream in the Bay of Islands for 24 years, recently moved from our 25-acre farm, now living walking distance to Kerikeri village and shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, bush and river walks. I live on site, in the house joined but separate from the apartment, 1 teenage son, daughter away at uni, but several international students staying, 1 dog and 1 cat. We have a busy life enjoying Northland, I love to share the cool little spots off the beaten track. Happy to chat and give you some tips, or if you prefer, i will leave you to it! Just ask if you want local knowledge/ tips, tours, off the beaten track, or tourist attraction hot spots!
We are very close to many walking tracks, a fabulous weekend markets and numerous cafes and restaurants, and a few vineyards close by! Close to the historic stone store as well - all within walking distance. A short drive to the beautiful East Coast beached as well as Paihia and Russell - the heart of the Bay of Islands. A slightly longer drive to Cape Reinga and 90 mile beach but day trippable as well as the Kauri forests.. so much to see and do in the arrive a perfect base for your Northland Experiences.
