We are in the heart of residential Richmond, within an easy 20-minute walk to the Richmond CBD and close proximity to all the beaches, rivers and cycling tracks that the beautiful Nelson/Tasman region has to offer. The apartment is cosy and fully self-contained, with a sunny patio, with sun umbrella for your exclusive use at the front of the apartment. The patio has a fence for privacy from the street but is not fully fenced so small children would have to be supervised. There is also a fully lockable space suitable for bicycles etc. for your use upon request from the hosts. This is a basement flat, that is part of the host's parent's house above. The driveway is shared but the apartment has a carport for the exclusive use of the guests. We are situated on a reasonably busy residential street so you can expect there will be some road noise, although inside the flat is quiet.
The Saxton Sports Stadium and Velodrome is only a half hour walk or 5-minute drive away. There are mountain bike tracks in the hills just behind our house.
There is a thriving shopping centre only minutes away, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and fast-food businesses. There are lots of lovely parks and walks and recreation/sports venues within easy distance and rivers and beaches are all within easy driving distance.
