Located at stunning Simpsons Beach on the Coromandel this icon Kiwi bach is 7 kms from Whitianga town ctre at beautiful Wharekaho/Simpsons Beach. 60m from beachfront, this 70'snorth/east facing 2 level bach has a large flatv grassy section (ideal for tents, boat parking or that backyard game of cricket) and great herb garden for BBQ-ing up a storm. 2 levels - upstairs : 1 bdrm (queen), kitchen/ living area, bathroom (single basin, toilet & shower) , deck, 6-burner hooded BBQ, outdoor dining table, umbrella etc. Downstairs : kitchenette (no stove), living/dining, 1 bedroom with queen & 2 bunks. Pull out sofa in living area also available. Bathroom with chub & separate toilet, laundry. A 2nd BBQ (lg hot-plate & grill) & an outdoor shower. Note : Not really suitable for young children - being a 70’s build and "untouched" our balcony balustrade upstairs and stairs do not meet today's building code requirements - with 3 single slat-rails , slatted and open, we feel it is not suitable for anyone with children under 8 yrs - due to the fact that younger children could easily fall/slip through the slat gaps . (See photo 7). The property is also unfenced.
Simpsons beach is a very safe swimming beach and a stunning beach to laze away the day on - great for paddle-boarding, swimming, jet-skiing etc - Beach access 50m down the road Nearby there is Brophys beach - just over the hill The Lost Spring 5km Cathederal Cove (boat trip) Lukes Kitchen 10km towards Coromandel for the best pizza's in the country - also open for breakfast over the holiday season from 9am
