Dick & Carmen Tredwell welcome you to their little 'piece of paradise' in the Wairarapa countryside! Please note there is NO cell phone reception at the cottages. There is good Wifi at the 1 bedroom cottage, and limited Wifi at the 3 bedroom cottage. Please ask for a Wifi voucher (2 GB more available to purchase if needed). There is Spark cell phone reception at our front gate - short walk down the wooded drive. We allow pets by PRIOR arrangement only (and only 1 dog allowed on site at a time). There is a charge of fifteen dollars per night for a dog. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Our dog rules are simple and common sense: Please bring your own dog bowls for food and water. Please bring dog bedding/blankets as needed. Please clean up all your dog dirt. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or sofas in the cottages. Dog to be accompanied at all times, or on a lead (not allowed to wander around). No dogs in the swimming pool/spa pool area. You are liable for any damage caused by your dog in the cottage or gardens. If your dog is not obedient - please don't ask to bring her/him! Bedroom 1 in our 3-bedroom cottage has 2 x single beds with the option for it to become a King Size bed. Please let us know if you want the King size option.
Originally from the UK, Dick and Carmen have lived in New Zealand for the last 20 years. We love our 20 acres of 'Wairarapa paradise' and enjoy sharing it with guests. There's plenty to see and do in the area - we'll send you all the information you need once you have booked.
We have 2 local golf courses at Riversdale and Castlepoint, as well as tennis courts to hire at Riversdale Beach. Enjoy great walks on the beach and a coffee or latte at the local store. Locally the Tinui Cafe & Bar provide great meals all day and evenings, except Mondays. The Hotel at Castlepoint provides meals in the evenings too!
