Located​ within walking distance of the lakefront & Tekapo village, this modern, well​ designed home captures the sunrise and sunset over the surrounding mountain ranges and offers fantastic indoor & outdoor living areas. Full length windows allow you to take in stunning views while ​c​osy inside on cooler days & two large decks provide the perfect space to​ soak up the warmth of the sunny days Tekapo is known for. ​ ​O​n clear nights ​the International Dark Sky reserve can be admired in private. Upstairs you will find the living spaces: a ​spacious kitchen, dining and living area that opens onto both decks, as well as a cosy media room where you can retreat to enjoy a movie. ​ The living area is kept cosy with a heat pump​ and air conditioning,​ and a second toilet is available. Downstairs are three well-appointed bedrooms, all equipped with panel heaters for winter, with two also featuring ceiling fans for the hotter summer months. The bunk room will be a favourite with children, as each bed has its own reading light and shelf for books and toys. A family-sized bathroom with shower & bathtub is located downstairs, along with full laundry facilities, including a front-loading washer and a heat pump dryer. ​ A spacious entryway provides storage for shoes, boots and coats. The carport is available for storing ski gear in winter and bikes, kayaks and paddleboards in summer.​ Ideally set-up for a family or small group, Olive Sanctuary has all you could wish for in a home away from home.
