Our Little Villa sits across Somme Parade from the Whanganui River, and is located handily to the central city and the Saturday markets. A lovely 1890s little villa, with open plan living area, modern kitchen, and three bedrooms. Sit on the swing chair on the front porch and watch the sunrise over the river in the mornings, or cross the road and walk the lovely path around the bridges. With two double bedrooms and one single room, gas heating in the lounge and panel heating/portable heating in the bedrooms. Facilities include smart tv, full kitchen including oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, washing machine, and off street carparking.
I manage more than a dozen short-term rentals in Whanganui, and make every effort to make sre you have a lovely stay in or beautiful city.
Whanganui is a gorgeous city centred around our famous river, with an abundance of historic buildings (as we didn't have the boom in the 1980s that pulled down so many in other centres), and a vibrant arts culture - with our many art galleries including the Sargeant Gallery, annual Artists Open Studios festival, our Whanganui Walls and art installations.
