A beautiful and private Bay of Islands retreat, located 7 minutes from Paihia and 5 minutes from the Waitangi Mountain Bike Park and Golf Course. Set in a beautiful elevated rural setting, this is a newly architectually designed home built for luxury and comfort. It has 4 bedrooms with floor to ceiling windows, 1 king size, 1 queen size, 4 single beds and 2 bathrooms to house 4-8 guests comfortably Enjoy the outdoor Weber BBQ, dining area and watch the sunset from the covered deck in front of the stunning Trendz outdoor fireplace. Play some games on the spacious front lawn. Relax and be refreshed in the Vortex spa and enjoy the countryside and farmland views from the lodge. With plenty of parking for trailer boats of any size, it also has a Wash Station for you to fillet your freshly caught fish! This property has truly all it takes to make it an unforgettable Bay of Islands holiday!
Schubert & Sarah are both retirees having worked in Singapore before emigrating to New Zealand in 2021. Sarah was formerly trained in nutrition and social emotional skills for children and teens. She has taken up her passion of acrylic realistic paintings of sunrise, sunsets and landscapes of New Zealand and involved with various art exhibitions locally in Paihia and Kerikeri. Schubert was a former Professsor of Information Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is a keen gardener, photographer, plane spotter and fishing enthusiast. Both Sarah and Schubert are both easy going & accommodating, and looks forward to welcoming guests to the lodge.
