With Hobbiton only 30 mins away the Pool House is the perfect romantic getaway or business stay on the outskirts of beautiful Cambridge in the heart of Tamahere countryside. Set amidst stunning parklike grounds with 100 year old oaks, birdsong & swimming pool at your doorstep. Recently updated with modern furniture & an exceptionally comfortable, brand new king size bed. Just minutes from the town of boutique shopping, delicious cafes & restaurants, Lake Karapiro, Avantidome & Hamilton Airport. The space Tastefully designed with the latest in bohemian/farmhouse vibes and access to our swimming pool during summer months. Continental Breakfast with cereal/milk, toast and spreads, tea and coffee. Free WIFI, smart TV & Netflix Completely private and set away from the main residence, nestled amongst our gorgeous garden. Suitable for a couple plus 1 child (single sofa bed) or adult (not too tall) Comfortable King Size bed fridge/freezer basic kitchen amenities- jug/toaster/microwave, benchtop oven and elements. Outdoor Patio with BBQ. Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, Hairdryer. Full laundry, washing machine, dryer and iron. Beautiful, soft pillow-top king bed.
Hi, I'm Lynley , wife, mother of 6 and nana to 3. I live on a lifestyle block just out of Cambridge with my husband Terry - a beekeeper, our two younger kids and our dogs Koda and Marlowe. I love being a Mum, spending time with my family, and thoroughly enjoy hosting guests through our short term holiday stays. It's been a real thrill designing these spaces and it's always fun to hear your feedback! I'm a bit of a homebody but one of my all-time favourite places is Waihi Beach, relaxing with family and friends at the Waihi Beach Hive!
The Pool House is a modern self contained country chalet. It is the perfect starting point to do the big three, Hobbiton, Waitomo and Rotorua as day trips. Mount Mauganui and Raglan Beaches are just over an hour away. A short 10 minute drive to Cambridge has award-winning bars, restaurants, cafes, retail & boutique stores, including quaint antique shops. Also close by is the Tivoli cinema, supermarkets, Avantidome Cycleway and Lake Te Koo Utu & Lake Karapiro. Cambridge is also well known for its well-designed bike tracks and walkways (catering for all levels), and the Saturday Farmers Market, which is a must-see. Cambridge is the perfect location if you travel the Central North Island, its location makes it easy to access all the attractions and activities. Hamilton is a 10 minutes away from the Pool House in the opposite direction, with great shopping, amazing walks along the Waikato River and the World renowned Hamilton Gardens which is a free attraction.
