This colonial-style mansion is situated at the edge of central Arequipa, 7 blocks from Plaza de Armas. It provides accommodations with private balcony, free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms at Posada El Castillo are designed with a mix of wood. Large doors open onto the balcony providing city views. Rooms are equipped with cable TV and the private bathrooms have hot water 24/7. A buffet breakfast is served in the on-site restaurant. For dinner, guests can easily walk into the center of the city or use the shared barbecue facility which is on the grounds. Facilities at El Castillo include a tour desk which organizes tours to the Colca Canyon. There is a library and book exchange is available. The Posada functions as a museum where 800 year old ceramics from the pre-Inka culture are displayed. El Castillo Posada is 5 miles from Rodríguez Ballón International Airport and an airport shuttle is available upon request.
