Company information

Mara and Martin are two easygoing travelers, filmmakers, and surfers, we are often in Baia Nest with our dogs and cats. We keep to ourselves, but if we're around, you are welcome to pop in for a chat. We love to design unique spaces where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Under our company, The Nest by the Sea, we host several pet friendly homes in Subic Bay, Zambales; and Gubat, Sorsogon.

Calling all backpackers and adventurers! The Lanai at Baia Nest is the ultimate retreat, offering a spacious, open-plan sanctuary with two ultra-comfy four-poster beds. Surrounded by lush fruit trees and breathtaking landscapes, it invites you to relax and explore the beauty of the area. Conveniently located just 90 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from the mall, and a quick 2-minute walk to the beach, it’s perfectly positioned for your getaway. The Lanai comes with a host of features to make your stay memorable, including comfortable beds, pet-friendly accommodations, stunning views, Wi-Fi, hot water, Netflix, self-serve breakfast, a shared bathroom, a grill, a plunge pool, a hammock, and security. It’s the ideal spot for adventure and relaxation alike!

Neighbourhood information

Buenavista, a small beach barrio in Gubat, Sorsogon, is a popular surfing destination with a 2-kilometer grey sand beach facing the Pacific Ocean. Just two minutes from the beach, our house is across from Bicol University and overlooks serene rice fields, offering a rare sunset view. Gubat is a quiet town with friendly locals, a few restaurants, and some bars. Booked guests receive a guidebook for local attractions, and we can recommend an excellent guide and whale shark expert for unforgettable tours around Albay and Sorsogon.
