Situado num ambiente rústico rodeado pela natureza com vista para o mar, o Pig Dog Surf Camp está configurado para acomodar famílias e grupos grandes. Pig Dog Surf Camp has traditional features, 8 rooms all with ensuite. 4 double rooms where two of those are family rooms. Shared rooms that take up to 8 people or only 2 people. Gardens, BBQ, communal lounge and dinning area. reception is open from 9.00 a.m to 20.00 p.m. jantar e de estar. All throughout the surf camp there is free WIFI available for all. The property is pretty safe, in a closed complex making it safe for all ages. All communal areas are opened at all times.
We are a family of 3, with a huge passion for surfing and mountain biking and other extreme sports, and that is the reason it got us to start our surf school in 2012.
Here, you will get the best of everything. The Pig Dog Surf Camp offers the amenities of a rustic setting close to the beach and surf. The beaches are mostly empty and the nearby town is quite quiet. If you prefer faster pace, the towns of Sines and Porto Covo are a hive of activity during the Summer. Along the coast you have Porto Covo with its nearby island Ilha do Pessegueiro, Sines and its cape. Just up the road about a 1.5km you have the beach of S. Torpes with its amazingly warm water. Only an hour and a half from Lisbon and 45 minutes from the Algarve, S.Torpes is quite central to the best beaches. As for the surf, of course you have the excellent Alentejo climate with moderate water temperatures from 16C in Winter up to 24C in Summer. A huge variety of beaches with waves for beginners and experts alike. Consistent swells, sheltered spots, exposed reefs...We have it all!
