Casa Alba is a renovated century-old house combining charm and comfort. It offers a bedroom, sofa bed, and an extra space for a second room or office. With a spacious garden, outdoor fireplace for barbecues, and a patio overlooking the mountains, it’s the perfect retreat to unwind.

We are a family from Alvados, caretakers of a stone house passed down for six generations. Two years ago, we restored it with care, preserving its oak doors, ceilings, and floors that still tell the story of those before us. Casa Alba is our family project, born from love for our village and its heritage. Welcoming guests is our way of giving the house new life while sharing its beauty and history with other.

Casa Alba is the ideal refuge to explore the Serra de Aire e Candeeiros and the treasures of Central Portugal. From here, you can easily reach Fátima, Nazaré, Alcobaça, Batalha, Leiria, Tomar, and even the Atlantic coast. Nestled in the Alvados Polje, in the heart of the natural park, the house is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and oak forests. It lies along the pilgrimage and trekking route between Nazaré and Fátima, close to natural wonders like the Fórnea amphitheater, the caves of Mira de Aire, Alvados and Santo António, and the castle of Porto de Mós. Adventurers will find nearby horseback riding, e-biking, paragliding, mountain biking, and rock climbing, with trail maps and tips available at the Nature Activities Center in Vale de Alvados.
