It comfortably accommodates 8 persons in its 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In the upper floor, the house has 1 suite with a balcony facing the sea, 2 other rooms linked by a balcony also with sea view, an independent bathroom and a third balcony. In the lower floor, you may find a large living and dining room with big windows and a balcony with sea view, another bathroom and a large and well-equipped kitchen. Cable TV, free wireless WIFI and free parking are also available on the site.
I was born in Lisbon, where I lived and worked until 2007, when I choosed to move to Ericeira with my family. In my early tweenties I falled in love with Ericeira, its blue sea and its unique light. This passion lasts until today as strong as ever. My other passion is Douro, where I have a fruit farm. I'm most fortunate to share my time and to carry out my work both in Ericeira and at the Douro Valley, two of the most stunning Portugues places! At Casa das Conchas, in Ericeira it's a privilege to be able to welcome my guests and help them discover this beautiful village!
The house is located 5 minutes’ walk from the beach and no more than 15 minutes’ walk from the typical old center. Also at walking distance, you may find a supermarket, commerce, restaurants, esplanades, a children’s playground and a beautiful seafront promenade. Ericeira, recently elected “one of the coolest villages in Europe”, is placed 50 Km away from Lisbon, 40 km away from Cascais and 23 Km away from Sintra. You may wish to enjoy some outdoors activities, such as surfing, cycling, paddling, running or simply to go shopping, to eat seafood, fresh fish or the delicious typical pastries, to go to the beach, or to visit the several old churches in the village. You may also enjoy a visit to Mafra, only 10 km away, where you can visit the Palace and its famous Library, as well as the Mafra National Hunting Gound with its multiple interesting activities. Whatever you do during your stay, at the end of the day don’t miss the beautiful sunset by the Atlantic Ocean.
