Casa Do Vale or House Of The Valley is a luxury 1 bedroom guesthouse in the heart of Central Portugal. Located at an altitude of 470m, on a clear day views reach up to 50 miles. Recently restored to a high, modern standard the guesthouse comes complete with a private wood-burning hot tub and a larger shared swimming/plunge pool which can be private upon request.
We're Arran and Oliver. Originally from the UK, we now live in Portugal. In 2020 we purchased Casa Do Vale and restored/renovated the entire property. As part of the renovation, we have opened a 1 bedroom guesthouse.
Described as a heaven of tranquility, the Alvaiázere municipality is an undiscovered gem of Central Portugal. Located just 90 minutes north of Lisbon, and 90 minutes south of Porto. The area is known for olive groves, vineyards and hills. A car is a must staying at Casa Do Vale, with easy access from both Lisbon, Porto, and other parts of Portugal. We're located around a 5-10 minute drive from the local town of Alvaiázere, where there are supermarkets, cafes, and facilities that you may need during your stay.
