Casa rural Chapinheira is located in the rural area of ​​central Portugal, a hilly region (Beiras) overlooking Serra da Lousã and pico do Goís. The small village Chapinheira takes you back in time, where people live off the land and forestry and everything goes calmly to the rhythm of the moon and nature. Experience village life in Portugal and the fishmonger or the "SRV" man honking the village enters drive and buy fresh local produce for the meals that you can prepare yourself in the spacious kitchen of the apartment. Relax, enjoy the view and listen to the songs of many birds. The ideal place to unwind and recharge yourself again. In this beautiful area we offer a luxury holiday apartment with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Enjoy outside the pleasant garden with terrace and loungeset or take a plunge in the pool in your own private side yard. In the vicinity there are some wonderful hiking and cycling trails or relax and enjoy the various river beaches nearby. Culture and nature, everything is closeby.
We are Mikel and Cynthia van der Sommen and since May 2017 we may casa rural Chapinheira call our home and we live in the apartment below the holiday apartment. Since our teenage years, we have always had the dream to leave the Netherlands and to build a life in another country. We not only Portugal opted for the wonderful climate, but also for its beautiful scenery, tranquility, space and the blessed food. The warmth and hospitality of the Portuguese people always amazes us again. After an extensive renovation in 2017 and 2018, we want to give our guests the expercience of the real Portugeese village life and let you enjoy all the beauty that Portugal has to offer. Bem vindo
Natural landscapes on a few steps away. There are several Praia fluvials (river beaches) a short distance away where you can relax and take a refreshing dip in the water from the mountains. Several beautiful cities like Coimbra are only a 30-minutes drive. A visit to the mountains of Lousã, with xisto villages and the castle with a praia fluvial is totally worth the trip and is only 20km away. Delicious food and beautiful authentic towns and villages. Relax, refresh & recharge!
