This apartment is brand new with all the necessities to spend a great time. It is quiet, overviewing the town of Batalha. We have organized the space so you can come as a family of four. There is one bedroom with a king-size bed and a sofa in the living room that can be unfolded to provide 2 beds. You are a group of friends, that is fine as well. We can transform the bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. You will be able to take your breakfast or sip a drink on the little terrace of the apartment admiring the view. The courtyard, which is made with the traditional "calçada", is large enough for children to play safely as the gate is closed.
We are a french/portuguese family resettling in Europe. We will love to meet you. We will be happy to welcome you at your arrival and offer you recommendation on what to do and/or what to visit if you wish. We also know how it is nice to have quiet moments, so the apartment is designed for you to be independent and relax in your own space. In any case, we will be right there for you!
Our village, one composing the "villa" Batalha, is at a top of a hill. It is called Rebolaria. Rebolaria comes from the verb "rebolar", to roll, because some of the stones used to build the monastery were rolled from here to the site of the construction in the XIV and XV centuries during the edification of this great monument. Our village is quiet, there is a little shop for small shopping where you will find fresh local vegetables and fruits. as well as bread. There is the headquarters of one of the best folkloric group in the country. There is also a little museum which will give you the opportunity to see how people were leaving at the beginning of the XXth century.
