* Foral Guesthouse is a brand new guesthouse and therefore if asking for directions, look for the restaurant "Adega do Ramada" as it stands right next door. * When entering the Castle Walls of Óbidos through the main door, take your right to the Road "Rua Josefa de Óbidos" and then take your second right (past all the restaurants), and you will find Foral. It should be a 1 or 2 minutes walk. * If you are traveling by car and wish to park it, there is a free car park area that is located near the main entrance of the Castle Walls, when you are driving through the main road, you will see a Bank called "caixa Geral de Depósitos", the carpark is right behind the bank so you should turn to the road in the Bank's direction.

Neighbourhood information

* If you are traveling by public transports I would advice the BUS as there is a bus stop next to the main entrance (2 or 3 minute walk). * I would not advice you to take the TRAIN as the train station is very far from the castle and there are no taxis or public transport available, if you do wish to travel by train make sure you book a taxi in advance, you will find Óbitos' taxi phone numbers on google. * If you are coming from Lisbon or the airport you can take a taxi to Campo Grande Station where you can get the bus "Rápida Verde" that stops right next to the castle. There are buses every 30min on weekdays, the trip should take about 50 minutes and the price is about 7 Euros, the taxi ride from the airport to Campo Grande should be 5 to 8 Euros.
