I love traveling and discovering new cultures, and with that same spirit I prepare the apartment so that every guest feels at home from the very first moment. What inspires me most about hosting is being able to share the beauty and tranquility of Calheta and the island of Madeira. I enjoy the sea, hiking along the levadas, and relaxing moments with good food — and I hope your stay here will allow you to experience all of that as well. My goal is simple: that you enjoy unforgettable days by the sea, with all the comfort and hospitality you deserve.
The location of Luzia by the Sea is one of its greatest highlights. Situated right next to Calheta Beach, one of the few golden sand beaches in Madeira, guests can enjoy swimming in crystal-clear waters and relaxing in the sun just steps away from the apartment. In the immediate area, you’ll find a supermarket, cozy cafés, a variety of restaurants serving both local and international cuisine, as well as padel courts for sports enthusiasts. Within walking distance, it’s also possible to book boat trips for dolphin and whale watching, sport fishing, or exciting activities such as diving and jet ski rentals. For nature lovers, the property is also well located for exploring some of the island’s most famous levadas, as well as the stunning Cabo Girão viewpoint and the natural volcanic pools of Porto Moniz.
