House built in the seventies, we offer a completely renovated space, whilst maintaining original features and details, which highlight Authenticity, Personality and History! Boho style, we dare to mix the past with the present, the old and the new! Located on Mindelo Beach, ON THE WAY Guest House features a garden with outdoor hot water shower, a terrace, 3 independent bedrooms with access to the outside (terrace or balcony), private bathroom with shower, free toiletries, hairdryer, and shared indoor and outdoor seating area. Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi in all areas. We serve a daily breakfast with homemade products. Quiet and peaceful place, next to the sea and the Mindelo natural park, it is ideal for spending a relaxed holiday, or welcoming Pilgrims who follow the Camino de Santiago along the coast.
We are a Portuguese family, from the North of Portugal, we like to travel, gain experiences, meet different people and cultures. We love the beach, sun and being close to the sea! ON THE WAY, Mindelo Beach /Guest House, was born from a family project. Our ambition has always been to have a space by the sea, far from the city, in a calm place that conveys the all- important tranquility… The opportunity arose very recently! We want to hear and share stories and adventures! Always favoring a relaxed, informal and welcoming environment. We want to be present, with the best that Portugal and the Mindelo area, with its beautiful beaches and walkways, has to offer! And make your stay perfect! It will be a discovery, we are waiting for you…
We are right next to the sea and incredible beaches, with sand as far as the eye can see! Destination to relax and recover energy, to enjoy long walks on the walkways, take a bike ride or surf the high waves!! This property is 14 km from Francisco Sá Carneiro airport, 25 km from Porto, and 4 km from Vila do Conde, a city full of history with its most traditional streets, ideal for discovering the best of Portuguese gastronomy in the countless cafes and local restaurants.
