The Galante Correia de Sequeira's were pioneers of the rural tourism in the Douro, having opened the family estates to visitors in 1993. To provide a genuine experience of the traditional Douro lifestyle in a relaxing atmosphere is their promise. Heralded by its iconic twin cypresses, Quinta de Marrocos is one of the oldest "Quintas" of the Douro. It is located on the left bank of the Douro River, in the Lower Corgo, source of the Port wine Region. For generations it has been the headquarters of the Galante Correia de Sequeira family

Housed at Quinta de Marrocos, just 2 km from Régua and 100 km from Porto Airport, in the Douro Wine Region, in the full Port wine Route in the Coa Valley, you can follow all stages of Port winemaking. Discover nature's secrets and enjoy the calm and a pleasant climate, with warm summers and mild winters. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and almond trees, where foxes and wild boars hide... And of course, taste the genuine transmontano cuisine.  This is also an excellent starting point to discover the region: from the Lamego museums to Vila Real, Porto and Viseu. With excellent access by IP3, IP4 routes or by bus and train, departing from Régua. You can also enjoy the tracks by foot or by bicycle, enjoy the magnificent panoramas from Sao Salvador do Mundo (20 km) and Sao Leonardo da Galafura (7 km), visit the Alvão Park and the Marão mountains.
