Quinta Vista do Vale is located on top of a hill with an amazing view over the valley. We have a beautiful garden with lots of fruit trees and grapevines. We make our own wine the traditional way. Our guests have there own terrace with a BBQ and a small swimming pool. The wine bar is available on request for socializing, wine-tasting *, breakfast and dinner. We have kind of a funny story about how we ended up in Portugal. Two brothers where traveling Europe in a camper van looking for the best place to live and start a B&B. Both brothers fell in love with Portugal and one also fel in love with a girl from Chicago. Now we all live here in Prova and we are looking forward to welcoming you as our guests and insuring you will have an incredible stay here in Prova.

Prova is a lovely little village surrounded by lots of nature with plenty of biking and hiking trails. It is close to the Vouga river with very nice picnic, BBQ, and swimming spots. The closest town is Oliveira de Frades. It is a 12 minutes drive by car or 25 minutes by bike. The bike trail is under a minute away from the apartament. Oliveira de Frades has two major supermarkets, and plenty of restaurants and bars. Within a 10 minute drive there is also a variety of highly-rated restaurants to choose from. 3 days a week you can visit the farmers market in Vouzela, which is about 10 minutes by car. For beach lovers there is Aveiro, also called the Venice of Portugal because of its canals and gondolas. Many popular beaches are within a ten minute drive from the picturesque city center. Several scenic waterfalls and swimming spots are just a short hike away from the Quinta. Porto, a vibrant city featuring gothic architecture and the birthplace of port, is 70 minutes away.
