You can find Haus Ingrid in Cisnădioara (Michelsberg) at the base of the Fortified Church of Saint Michael. Located on Sub Cetate street, it is only 2 minutes away from the stairs to the Fortified Church, and 2 minutes from the village center and restaurants. The city of Sibiu is 12 km away. The village is known for cultural events (shows, concerts, exhibitions), but also for its natural beauties, museums, restaurants, medieval fortresses, and fortified churches. The property is composed of 2 buildings, with decorations and finishes that respect traditional local architecture. The main building has 3 rooms with individual bathrooms and entrance/exit to both courtyards (to the inner courtyard as well as the one behind the house with a superb view over the village - a perfect place for a coffee or sunbathing). The second building is located in the inner courtyard and has an open living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The covered barbeque area is opposite the kitchen - an ideal place for a barbecue or picnic. The house can accommodate 12 guests comfortably and we offer bed linen and towels. Parking is free in front of the gate and can accommodate 2 cars.
In Cisnădioara there is a Romanesque basilica from the second half of the 12th century and the oldest working pipe organ in Romania (beginning of the 18th century). Mountain trail lovers can reach Vârful Măgura (1304 m), Poiana Trandafirilor, Cătunul Prislop, Rășinari, Valea de Argint on foot or by bike. A visit to the Ethnographic Museum in the center of the village, the fortified Romanesque church (one of the oldest churches in Transylvania), the Evangelical Church in Cisnădie, the Sibiu Folk Technique Museum, the Sibiu Zoo, the Brukenthal Museum can be part of the vacation plan during which we hope to host you.
