Set in the fairytale Surdesti, Iz de Maramures offers premium quality service & experience with beautiful countryside views. The farm is set in 2,200 Sq meters of open countryside in Surdesti, and has its own wildlife and numerous scenic walking routes. Each of the 8 colorful, rustic, traditional rooms in Iz de Maramures include an suite bathrooms, as farm views and a welcome tray with fresh spring water. The common area serves as the activity room for reading, or playing board games, and full equipped kitchen shared area (use and cleaning extra charge/ room). There is also an outdoor garden with sunbed chairs on summer time and hammocks and sitting area. Free parking is available at Iz de Maramures, and the town of Cavnic is 15 minutes’ drive away. Baia Mare can be reached in 25 minutes by car. The wooden churches of Maramures, part of the Romania UNESCO World Heritage tour, includes the church of Surdesti which is without a doubt one of the most renowned tourist attractions in Romania. Build around 1721, by the artisan Toma Macarie, this UNESCO Heritage site is considered to be one of the best representations of architectural style to the region of Maramures.
