Located near the Transfăgărășan road, our guesthouse offers spacious, bright rooms, each with a private bathroom—perfect for relaxing after a day spent in nature. In the courtyard, there is an artisanal bakery where guests can enjoy the smell and taste of freshly baked bread every day.
We are a friendly and open family, passionate about nature, people, and things made with heart. We love creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests—just like being “at home in the mountains.” We’re always happy to offer recommendations about the area and to share fresh products from our bakery. Our hope is that every guest leaves with beautiful memories and a desire to return.
Our guesthouse is located in Cârțișoara, a picturesque village at the foot of the Făgăraș Mountains, just minutes away from the famous Transfăgărășan road—known as one of the most spectacular drives in the world. The area is rich in natural beauty, with easy access to hiking trails, waterfalls, and glacial lakes, as well as cultural landmarks such as the Badea Cârțan Memorial House. It’s the perfect destination for nature lovers, adventurers, and those seeking peace and relaxation.
