Villa Rusu
Villa Rusu is located in Sibiu County, in the village of Cârța, at the foot of the Făgăraș Mountains. The villa is situated next to the famous Cistercian Monastery of Cârța, one of the oldest in Europe. The villa features four bedrooms—three double rooms and one with two single beds, perfect for children. It also includes three bathrooms, two balconies, and a spacious open-plan living room with a kitchen and a cozy fireplace. Villa Rusu is primarily rented as an entire unit, but we occasionally accept reservations for just one or two bedrooms. Guests can also enjoy a barbecue area and convenient public parking next to the property.
Villa Rusu is a family home, originally designed as a private retreat for the Rusu family. Over time, as we found ourselves spending less time at the property due to work and other commitments, we decided to open our doors to guests looking for a peaceful escape in the heart of nature.
Cârța is a charming, typical Transylvanian village where you will instantly feel relaxed. Nestled in a picturesque mountain setting, this small village offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. With its Saxon influences and well-maintained traditional houses, Cârța is a place full of authenticity. In the village, you will find three grocery stores for daily essentials, while a gas station is conveniently located just 3 km away. Several restaurants are also available within a short drive, offering delicious local cuisine.
