Lägenheten ligger i ett område med tre hus och ett fårstall och hönshus. Katt och hund finns också på gården. Det finns möjlighet att få var sitt ägg att koka till frukost.
Lägenheten ligger mittemellan Mariefred och Strängnäs. Mariefred har utflyktsmål som museijärnvägen, hjorthagen och Gripsholms slott. Strängnäs har en vacker domkyrka, väderkvarn och hamn, samt många fina restauranger. Det finns även en restaurang bara några kilometer från boendet.
