At the shore of Lake Stora Le Foxen, a lovely recreational and fishing lake, this property is nestled in an approx. 300.000 m2 private gated forest property. The property is sunny and has a large lawn for playing and games. The house has a practical layout. On the ground floor you find the hall, the bathroom/WC, the kitchen and the combined living and dining room. On the upper level you have all three bedrooms. The bathroom is fresh, bright, tiled, has a large mirror cabinet and a marble floor with floor heating. The combined living and dining room is bright and spacious, the living room part has an L shaped seating area for 5 people. The bright kitchen (with dish washer, washing machine and combined fridge/freezer) has a large L-shaped illuminated stainless steel kitchen counter which is ideal for preparing meals together and then enjoying them in the sunset on the veranda which is under roof so that you can enjoy the lovely outdoor environment whatever the weather. The area has a rich wildlife. The beds of our house are covered with protective mattress blankets. Our guests have to bring their own duvets/bedcovers and pillows. Our guests are in charge of cleaning the house before they leave, the advantage for our guests is that we do not charge them for cleaning costs provided that they did the cleaning well.

Our family has owned this house for about 30 years and all family members and friends love it. More info about the area: The lake system of Stora Le Foxen is up to 99 meters deep and has an area of 131 square kilometers. This makes Stora Le Foxen the 19th largest lake in the country. Stora Le Foxen is part of the DANO area (Dalsland-Nordmarken), whose high nature values consist of large untouched forest areas and the extensive lake system with many beautiful islands. In the DANO area there are 39 bird sanctuaries and a total of 27 registered fish species. Fishing for pike and perch is popular. Fishing licenses can be purchased online. From the property, it is 41 kilometers to Glaskogen National Park where you find 300 km of hiking trails. The distance to Årjängs Golf Club is about 35 km, it has an 18-hole course designed by Peter Nordvall. From the property it is 18 kilometers to Töcksfors where you find two large shopping centers, restaurants and gas stations. Lake Vänern is the largest sweet water lake in Western Europe. 25 percent of the surface of Dalsland and 19 percent of the surface of Värmland are covered by lakes.
