Welcome to our cottage, a place where you can relax and draw strength. At the lavender cottage, enjoy the tranquility and the natural fresh air. We offer a luxurious concept, where you can enjoy recumbence, great food, therapies, yoga, meditation and sensuous impressions. Go for a walk along the beautiful gravel roads and pick your favorite flowers. Perhaps go for a bike ride and bring a packed picnic basket? Spend time in our garden with coffee and cinnamon buns fresh out of the oven! Sounds lovely, doesn’t it?
We are Eva and Istvan, owners of the Lavender Cottage and both of us are trained in massage and yoga. We’ve made our dream come true by creating a SPA retreat at a wonderfully genuine Swedish cottage. An experience to remember! For our guests wellbeing we offer serenity, silence, enjoyment and the healing energy of lavender. For a little while or as long as you like!
Our cottage is located near both Skövde and Skara in Varnhem which has thousands years ancestry. Our next-door neighbor is Lake Hornborga, famous for its many birds, especially the cranes performing with their peculiar dancing in the spring. They fly high above the cottage all summer. Nearby the cottage are two beautiful lakes for swimming, Billingen nature reserve with beautiful walking trails, Axvall trotting race course and Skara waterland
