We live just outside of Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. Close to our main home there is a private, newly built tiny house on the premises. It is a quiet place, close to the sea and nature, built to modern standards with a private outdoor deck and parking. It's a cosy home with one room, high ceilings, plenty of storage and a specious bathroom.
We are an active couple in our early 50´s and 60´s with flexible jobs and time to travel. I am Swedish and my wife Rachael is Australian. We have three children, living in Sweden and Australia. We love the outdoors, camping, skiing, biking and sailing. Our intention is to spend more time with our family in Australia during the Swedish winter.
Our home is located one kilometer from the sea and the southern archipelago of the Swedish west coast. The village of Malevik is small and quiet, close by there is a small private boat harbour with cliffs and a swim platsform to jump off into the sea in summer time. There are no tourists here and there is always a private spot to spread out upon. Pretty forest walks are just around the corner. There are a couple of free bikes to explore the area with. If you want a change and city life, Gothenburg is a 45 min bus ride away, or 20 min by car. Walking to the bus takes 10 min from home. From the airport to Gothenburg there are regular buses that take about 20 min.
