About this property

Situated 1 km from the Skärsjön Beach, this unique eco-friendly property offers traditional forest huts with a fireplace. Skinnskatteberg village centre is 3 km away. All the self-serviced forest huts at STF Kolarbyn Eco-Lodge are built in all natural materials. Each is without electricity and running water. No shower facilities are available on site, but guests can bathe in the nearby lake. Leisure facilities at STF Kolarbyn include a floating wood fire sauna and a communal hut with a fireplace and sheep skin rugs. Activities like elk and beaver safaris and survival courses can be arranged. Breakfast and sauna access are included, while lunch and a rustic dinner must be booked in advance. Guests can also use the barbecue area and outdoor dining area. Boats can be rented on site. Hiking trails are found in the surrounding area. Skinnskatteberg Train Station is a 7-minute drive away.
