The farm is the only estate at the lake, which is perfect for swimming, fishing (with license), or barbecues. The cottage is about 80 meters away from the lake's shore. You can easily reach the farm by car, about 25 minutes from Ludvika.
What you'll find here: Swedish idyll, tranquility, animals, relaxation, pure nature. In addition, you can join one of my Awareness Clases which I offer (ask for more info).

The Hunter's Lodge is a wooden house in typical Swedish style: red-painted wood. The stuga has an electric toilet, but no shower in the house. You can use the bathroom in the main building with shower and bathtub. Or you can use the bathroom in a little flat. Both places are ca 150m / 160 m to go. At my house you can use a washing machine.
The WiFi connection is a bit depending on the weather, as it is normal here in this area in the forest.
In the hunter's cottage you will find a small kitchen (2 plate stove), seating for quiet evenings and much coziness. On the ground floor there are is a "three-man-bed, at the top of the gallery (accessible via a ladder) two comfortable sleeping facilities. There is a grill to use and garden furniture. The standard is simple and very comfortable. You are welcome to use the sauna or the little barbeque-house. There is also a boat you can use.
The little cabin got a new room with big windows, much light and a great view to the lake and the nature. Here you can enjoy cozy times - without moskitos. If you like it to have it cosy and warm, you are welcome to make up a wood-fire in the oven. Then you can sit in front of the big windows and give yourself the chance just to relax and enjoy the nature.
You will have the cabin for you all alone.! It is located about 150m from the main house, in which I live, away. Opposite the Jägerstuga is a small house, which I also to rent. Since all my guests are looking for relaxation and not for parties, you won't have to worry about your "neighbors".
Welcome to the hunters lodge 💕
Hej Hej,
I am Silke. Almost 17 years ago I moved from Munich to the Swedish countryside, together with my dog. I enjoy the relaxed life in Sweden, the hospitality of the people and the incredible dimensions of nature.
I live on a little farm in Dalarna with my dogs, chickens and sheep.
Do you want to join this wonderful feeling of living so close to nature, in harmony with the seasons and all weather conditions?
You are warmly invited to share this experiences with us.
The farm is located in the Malingsbo-Kloten Nature Reserve.
With 50,000 hectares, the reserve is the largest nature reserve outside the swedish fjäll. It is a very special area, as new buildings are prohibited and nature surrounds you from all sides.
It is a retreat for many wild animals, such as moose, deer, wild birds, hares, foxes, beavers, badgers but also wolves, lynxes and bears are occasionally settled here.
With a lot of luck you can hear the singing of the wolves.
It is an area which invites you to immerse yourself in nature.
You embraces of deep forests, quiet lakes and beautiful rivers.
The area is criss-crossed by a network of hiking trails and canoe trails. There are many opportunities to take a break in shelters - often located closeby a lake.
It also invites you to fish (available online with a valid fishing license).
It is a place of retreat, not only for the animals but also for us humans. An immersion in the silence of nature - and a rediscovery of oneself.
Even in winter, there are many opportunities to experience the snow-covered winter landscape.
In relative proximitly there are opportunities for skiing (alpine and nordic).
A little north of Falun, you have the opportunity to join guided tours to discover the wintry landscape by snowmobile.
Here at the lake you can try your luck at ice fishing - with a valid fish license (an ice drill is available here).
Independent snow hikes are also possible.
The sauna fits perfectly into the cold landscape to warm up - especially on a clear night with countless stars above you.
And a cozy dinner in the barbecue hut by a campfire is super cozy when it's minus degrees outside.
Welcome !
