Apartment Villa Zigmund is located on the outskirts of Cerknica, just a little dislocated from the center, but still with a beautiful view on the field and with a beautiful view of the meadows and hills of Javornik. We are known for their hospitality, genuine contact with guests, our goodwill, and our apartment is a good starting point for trips to the surrounding area. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, the apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, and a living room with two extra beds. It is very spacious, as everyone can find their own corner on 65 square meters. The fully equipped kitchen includes a basic and microwave oven, a hot toaster, a kettle for warm water, and a coffee machine. Breakfast is optional, which is served in the apartment. The apartment has its own parking place.
We are friendly hosts who are always at your disposal. If you are still wondering which natural sights you want to see in our surroundings, we would be happy to advise you, as we know the entire region in which we live. We can suggest your programme for several days, where you can visit the nearby area and beyond, from the Slovenian Alps to the Slovenian coast with an obligatory stop in the Slovenian capital city - Ljubljana. We can arrange bike rental at a nearby bike centre, we can organise horse-drawn carriage rides, we can advise you on where to go for local cuisine,....
From here you can go to a nearby hill, Slivnica, Špička, Stražnik, Križna gora, Veliki Javornik or simply visit the Rakov Škocjan – The Valley of Natural Bridges. Cycling enthusiasts can explore the surroundings of the Disappearing Lake Cerknica, nearby woods Menišija and Javorniki, or just drive to the nearby villages for a good meal. Or you can visit the old town or you can go on a long walk in the fields to the neighboring villages or you can explore the lake. Our apartment also offers an excellent starting point for exploring Slovenia. From here you have less than 45 minutes to the beautiful Slovenian coast or just as much to Ljubljana, which is the capital of our country. You can visit Križna Jama cave (The world-famous water karst cave), which is 15 minutes away, or Postojna Cave, which is a 20-minute drive away.
