Romantic cabin in the heart of Triglav National Park! Choose between having breakfast by the wood burning fireplace or outside enjoying the sunshine. Ideal for nature lovers, in the heart of the Slovenian Alps, walking distance to Soca river source, located right by then Soca trail. A true mountain retreat with beam wood ceiling, romantic wood burning fireplace, and rustic decor. 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed and 2 single beds (optional crib). Fully equipped kitchen, full bath, central heating. Suitable for couples and families.
A family of four who love the outdoors and sports. We love traveling, meeting new people and trying new things.
The cabin is located in the heart of Triglav National Park with the Soca trail going right past the house. The area is great for hiking, with mountains all around the cabin, cycling, rafting & kayaking on the Soca river, canyoning, zipline, climbing. The Soca river source is onlay a 30min hike on the Soca trail away. The Mlinarica gorge is a 10min walk from the cabin, only a 5min walk away is the Kugy statue with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Great places to visit are also: Mangard saddle (40min drive), Boka waterfall (30min drive), Nadiža river and the Napoleon bridge (45min away), Laghi di Fusine - Italy (45min drive), Russain chapel (30min drive). Great hikes: Jalovec mountain, Triglav, Krn lakes, Mojstrovka, Slemenova špica, Razor and many more. The area has a rich history from WWI landmarks in the area (Kluže and Hermann fort, many outdoor museums of WWI, Kobarid war museum).
