Our ranch is located near Terme Olimia in Mali Rudnica at 500 m above sea level in the heart of unspoilt nature on a secluded sunny clearing with a beautiful view. About 70 animals of different species live on the ranch, such as horses, ponies, lamas, goats, sheep and more. Very suitable for families, as children have the opportunity to get to know domestic animals and also less common animal species, to socialize with them, learn about their behavior and attitude towards other animals and people. Our family arranges events for families to enjoy ranging from pony riding, interacting with animals, baking corn or potatoes in the evening fire and other fun social events.
We are a family of six who take care of our family ranch and the animals on it. Mother Slavica and father Gregor bought the farm about twenty years ago, and since then our four children David, Filip, Pavel and Ivana have joined our family. We spend most of our time renovating the property and working with our lovely animals. We will do our best to make your vacation at our ranch one of those memories that you will never forget.
The area surrounding the property and the area of manicipality of Podčetrtek has plenty for guests to explore and enjoy. From pristine green nature, hills and thermal waters in the spaa centers of Olimia and Aqualuna. Close to the ranch there is a tower of health and joy which offers an amazing viewing experience on surrounding areas. In the Monastery of Olimje there is a pharmacy with natural herbs as well as a chocolate shop with amazing natural and flavorful chocolate. There are many restaurants in podčerttek and its surroundings that offer a true gourmet experience, and in addition to good food, we also have the Haler brewery. At Deer Ridge, you can also experience a walk among a large herd of deer and feed them.
