Our guesthouse used to be a farmhouse in the center of Bohinjska Bela. Some years ago we rebuilt it and established lovingly decorated guest rooms. Please see more in the gallery. Our latest project, the hayloft SaFran (opening in May/June 2019), is interisting for all of those who look for something special and unique. It is like a loft/gallery with a touch of industrial style. It used to be our hayloft and now you have the chance to sleep in freshest hay or a comfortable bed in the loft. The hay is scented with roses and herbs from the garden. It is perfect for families/groups who are familiar with each other.The loft is one big room (@70sqm) with a haybox, perfect for 4, a nice double bed (for2 -pics not available yet-bed in progress) and a single bed. Perfect place for 7-9 people. An extendable sofa for 2 is also available. The bathroom is brand new and is also made in industrial style. In addition you have a dining room with kitchenette and a fabulous terrasse.. Please see the pictures. . Unfortunately the system is not set to describe the gallery perfectly. My name is Sabine and I`m happy you sneaked into my profile. I was born and raised in Germany. Besides my country of birth I also lived in the US and Switzerland. Slovenia is really a hidden jam and I love to welcome guests in our former farmhouse which was owned by my grandparents. I am constantly working on improving our guesthouse while still trying to preserve the old tradition. Guests love our place because it is very personal. I also have a tour guide licence and can accompamy you on one or the other excursions if requested.

Bohinjska Bela is a quiet and authentic little village only 4 km from famous Lake Bled. The perfect destination to relax and the perfect starting point to discover the whole area. Either going for some sportive activities as hiking, climbing etc. or discovering little towns with its history. Even the capital Ljubljana is only 40 minutes away by car. The biggest lake of Slovenia, Lake Bohinj is located in the Triglav National Park, only @ 20 km away. Slovenia is the only country in Europe where the Alps and the Adria coast are that close. In the morning you climb the mountains in our area and in the afternoon you can take a swim in fresh salty water and watch the sunset somewhere on the Slovenian coastline (@45km long @90 min./car away). We also have an impressiv hidden cave in our village and can be visited - mainly during main season.
