Property information

Holiday Home Vesna is located on a vineyard hill and is a small 30 square meter cozy family retreat with a great view of the Mokrice castle and the valley below. Guests have access to a kitchen, private bathroom, a living room with all the interior apart from bathroom being one single space. For guest accommodation there is a double sofa bed in the living room and a double bed located on an upper platform accessed by stairs. Outside there is a terrace with outdoor furniture which is perfect for a picnic as guests have access to a coal BBQ grill. Guests can make use of the Russian bowling set or borrow golf clubs to go golfing on te nearby course at Mokrice castle. Guests have free private parking space on location, Wifi access throughout the property, Air conditioning and central heating.

Neighbourhood information

Holiday home Vesna is located near the amazing town Brežice, only 10 kilometres away from Terme Čatež - the biggest thermal riviera in Slovenia. In addition to traditional museums (e.g. the Brežice Posavski Regional Museum), there are also many smaller museum collections, archives and historic houses that can be found in Brežice and the surrounding areas. Most of them are aimed at promoting old farm and artisan traditions, preserving the memory of important historical figures in the area, and the preservation and revitalisation of valuable history in general. The Municipality of Brežice has a 130-year-old rafting tradition. The Mostec Tourist Association revived the tradition by transporting tourists via traditional ferry. Visitors are daily transported across the Sava River from Terme Čatež to the village of Mostec and back. Nearby is a golf course and Castle Mokrice with a royal wine cellar, golf course and a lake for fishing.
