Nova Gorica is just big enough city that it is always something going on (the center of the city is still bustling). Its position can be harnessed to visit the surrounding hills and biking (Sabotin; Museum Collection I. sv. War, Sveta Gora, Church of the Assumption, Kekec, Škabrijel 6. marble battle in the I. St. War, visit the vineyard Goriška Brda; and cycling routes from quiet to Plavi in ​​the length of approx. 40 km (free and payable bikes available) Nova Gorica is the appropriate starting point for a visit to Ljubljana, Postojna Cave, the places along the Soca river, Bled.
