Spoil yourself with the splendour of the Old Farmhouse Breg, built originally in 1908. This heritage site has been renovated to exploit its location on a plateau between the Alpian mountain ranges around Triglav and the foothills of Stol; only 5km from the glacier Lake Bled, with trails for cycling, jogging or hiking. Ever fresh views come alive with the changing seasons and farming activities. Walk into the forests that start 150 meters away and meander down to and along the Sava River or choose instead to roam through the farmlands to one of the world’s best (18 hole) golf courses only 2 to 5 kms from Old Farmhouse Breg. For the really energetic seeking something more challenging, Mt Stol is waiting for willing climbers to the Austrian border where Stol changes its name to Hochstol (or Highchair) at the peak.
Summer activities are substituted with snow activities in winter. Old Farmhouse Breg is well located for you to decide at any time which well-known ski slope you wish to visit on a specific day after you’ve checked the real-time insitu videos of the various local mountain conditions.
